Colonial Day
Enjoy an interactive fair teaching your students aspects of colonial life. Opportunities include creating colonial horn books and quills, students dipping their own candles, weaving, churning butter, playing time period games, and more! We come dressed in colonial period clothing and provide each student accessories to enjoy for the day. We look forward to sharing unique colonial style artifacts with your students too!
Gold Rush Day
We will take your kids back in time to the good ole days of early California history. Whether your students choose to come by the overland trail or by sea, they'll discover what it was like to dream big and mine for gold. Other activities include buying supplies at the pioneer store, shooting a bow and arrows, creating a poke bag and loading a covered wagon!
Properties of Matter Inquiry
Feeling rushed to fit science into your packed teaching schedule? Let us help you kick off your science unit studying matter! The event begins with our life size demonstrations using solids, liquids, and gas. No more boring demonstrations! This one has dry ice bubbles, vortex cannons and the PROPERTY-INATOR! Watch out 2nd grade! Following the demo students will do their own experimentation with STEM blocks, SOAK It Up absorbency trays, Geoboards and Ice Extraction! Best of all? We bring it all to you!
Forces & Motion Inquiry
This is one science adventure your students won't soon forget! We've got inertia towers, a maglev train and even a hovercraft! Following these pretty cool demos, students will test static electricity, speed and distance, create their own maglev train and wrecking ball. It is an all out hands-on science extravaganza!
